ShopperQuiz sends each shopper to Klaviyo with their answers as profile properties, the products they were recommended, and a Quiz Completed event you can trigger flows from. Shoppers who tick your newsletter box join the list you choose.

Connected in minutes
Connect with Klaviyo
Go to Integrations → Klaviyo, click Connect with Klaviyo, choose your account and click Allow.
Pick your list
Choose an existing subscriber list, or create a new one right from the drawer.
Ask for an email
Turn on Collect email address on the quiz’s welcome screen — and the newsletter checkbox if you want subscribers.
Build your flows
Trigger a flow from the Quiz Completed metric and personalise it with the shopper’s answers and picks.
Prefer a key? A private API key works too — a Custom key with Lists, Profiles, Subscriptions and Events at Full Access, and Accounts at Read Access.

A welcome flow for quiz takers
Trigger on Metric → Quiz Completed and drop each shopper’s recommended products into the email with Klaviyo’s lookup filter.
Segments by answer
Properties about someone → SQ Hair Discovery: Hair type → equals → Curly. Every answer is segmentable.
Split flows by answer
Add a conditional split on any answer property — dry hair down one branch, oily hair down another.
Quizzes never collide
Properties are named per quiz, so two quizzes never overwrite each other’s answers on the same profile.

One checkbox, real consent
Opted-in shoppers are added as soon as they pass the welcome screen. Shoppers who don’t tick the box are never subscribed.

Keep test or internal quizzes out of Klaviyo. Every quiz is on by default, including new ones.
About 30 seconds
Data reaches Klaviyo about 30 seconds after the shopper finishes the quiz.
FAQ
Klaviyo questions
Their answers and the Quiz Completed event still sync — that’s quiz data the shopper gave you directly. They are never added to your list unless they tick the newsletter box.
Opted-in shoppers are subscribed straight away, because the welcome-screen checkbox is their explicit consent.
The second one gets a (2) suffix, so answers never overwrite each other.
Syncing stops and the saved connection is removed. Profiles and data already in Klaviyo are kept.
